What an interesting fruit ~ Does it taste like an apple?

It's very pretty and makes a nice picture.

Jama,

you own that manificent palace in India. I came via Rajesh, and saw Jama, I click back to make sure I wasn't visiting yours. There I saw Jama name.

miss the water jambu.

came via Jama's site. It is quite hard to find another fruit which is similar to our water jambu. It is very juicy. Not exactly spongy. very thirst quenching.

Will be interested to see how Jama describes it.

Their shape reminds me of chayote, which is green. They also remind me of the shininess of red pepper. I'd like to taste one of these one day.

Well, this is a new one for me! I like that you have photographed it as it grows - very unusual (I am used to large trees with solitary apples).
